Marian-Catalin Predoiu, who has previously served as the Minister of Interior in Romania, has been appointed as the interim Prime Minister of the country. This decision was made following the resignation of Marcel Ciolacu, a member of the Social Democratic Party.
Predoiu will take on the role of head of government temporarily until a new cabinet is formed in Romania. The signing that formalizes his appointment was carried out recently.
In Predoiu's words regarding his new role: "It is an honor and a responsibility to temporarily assume the leadership of the Government of Romania during this transitional phase. I will work to ensure stability and the proper functioning of the country until the formation of the new Executive."
